Commissioned from the Bavarian Court Jeweller Caspar Rieländer by King Ludwig I of Bavaria for his wife, Queen Therese, the tiara features sixteen pearls in diamond arches, hanging from lover’s knot bows, mirrored by sixteen pear-shaped pearls on top. -
